A Little Geek Speak and What it Means for You

Walking into a printing conference, you might hear people exclaiming things like, “Wow, 1400 DPI!” or “183 square feet per hour?!” While we try to sound technical in front of our friends and colleagues, what it really comes down to is that we are fascinated with sleek lines and bright colors. On our quest for production equipment that will provide our customers with the best of both, we’ve recently made a couple acquisitions that you should know about.

Our new Eco-Solvent printer is one of the best when it comes to being able to print high quality images (up to 1440 DPI) at a quick rate. The Eco-Ultra inks, which print directly onto the substrate without the need for a laminate, are durable for up to 3 years in outdoor environments. What this means for you, is that many of your paper window signs, banners, decals and static clings will be produced in higher resolution and ship faster.

In addition, ARMAC purchased a high-performance plotter, making it possible to cut intricate lines around preprinted signs and decals. This means that we’ll be able to provide creative shapes on smaller runs that would not have been economically sensible using our die cutting processes. It will open the way for custom cut decals, static clings, translites and more.
